How to Verify Phone Number in Google AdSense?

Many publishers have asked Google AdSense Support Team about phone verification and indicated that they’re having difficulty with the process.

After investigating these reports, Google AdSense Support Team have discovered that their system is currently experiencing intermittent outages.

They are working hard to fix the issue as soon as they can and they are very appreciate with publisher’s patience in the interim.

If publishers not sure for verifying their phone number, they can find out by visiting their Payment History page.

If publishers have reached $50 in earnings, they may see the ‘Please verify your phone number’ prompt as being shown in the image below.

If publishers don’t see this message on their Payment History page, publishers don’t need to verify their phone number.





If publishers are required to verify their phone number, they can initiate the process by clicking the ‘Please verify your phone number’ link and following the instructions.

Also, Google AdSense Support Team like to offer publishers a few tips for completing the phone verification process, based on publisher feedback.

First, Google AdSense automated phone system isn’t compatible with rotary phones or certain types of VoIP technology, so publisher may wish to double check the phone line they’re using.

In addition, if publisher’s phone has a Tone/Pulse option, they should make sure it’s set to ‘Tone’.

Finally, If publisher still have a problem, they may try a different phone number. For instance, try switching from cell phone to a land line.

If publishers are still unable to verify their phone number after multiple attempts, feel free to contact one of Google AdSense specialists through Google AdSense Help Center or the prompt inside publisher’s account. Google AdSense Support Team will be very happy to assist publishers further with phone verification issue.
